Our special exhibitions, Portraits & Prospects:  American and British Paintings, 1750-1850, will be on view at the Arader Gallery, 1016 Madison Avenue, New York, NY  10021 during 17-24 January 2012.  Viewing hours will be:

    Friday, Jan. 20:                  11-8 PM
    Saturday, Jan.21:              11-5 PM
    Sunday, Jan. 22:                12-5 PM
    M-Tues., Jan. 23-24:          11-6 PM

On Wednesday, Jan. 18th at 2 PM, Dr. H. Nichols Clark will present a gallery lecture:  'Courtship in New York':  Francis Edmonds and Dutch 17th c. Painting.  A reception will follow the talk. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Our Frederick, Maryland gallery on 218 N. Market Street will only be open by chance or appointment during the Holiday Season through 25 January 2012, after which we will resume our regularly scheduled hours:

    Saturday    11-6 pm*
    Sunday       12-5 pm

    * Extended hours to 9 pm on First Saturdays.
